Job Requirements

  • Some college or advanced training in food and beverage management
  • 3 years related experience with supervisory duties
  • possession or willingness to obtain food protection certificate
  • advanced knowledge of food service regulations
  • organizational skills and time management
  • ability to stand for 8 or more hours in extreme temperatures
  • skilled with relevant hand tools or machines
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects
  • flexible availability for various shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Some college or advanced training in food and beverage management
  • minimum of 3 years related experience including supervisory roles
  • food protection certificate or willingness to obtain
  • advanced knowledge of food service regulations
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • proficiency in hot and cold line production
  • ability to stand for extended hours in extreme temperature environments
  • skilled in use of hand tools or machines relevant to the position
  • able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
  • maintain the kitchen in a clean and organized manner to follow all Department of Health guidelines
  • possess in depth knowledge of all recipes and their execution
  • handle all dietary restrictions and modifications
  • prepare and cook foods of all types, either regularly or for special guests
  • manage day-to-day staffing including planning, assigning work, and setting performance and development goals
  • educate and train team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations
  • monitor budget and control expenses focusing on food, supplies, and labor costs
  • check quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
  • perform duties of kitchen managers and employees as necessary
  • achieve and maintain company and brand standards for quality and guest satisfaction
  • ensure security and proper storage of food, beverage products, inventory, and equipment
  • replenish supplies efficiently while minimizing waste
  • protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to sanitation standards
  • attend training sessions, departmental meetings, and daily pre-service meetings
