Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience preferably as a sous chef or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and special instructions accurately
- Willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policy where required
Job Qualifications
- Proven culinary experience in a supervisory or sous chef role
- Knowledge of federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
- Ability to train and lead a team effectively
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling
Job Duties
- Understand and respond to all guest and employee needs in a timely and professional manner
- Assist, train, monitor scheduling, and support food and beverage employees to maintain high morale and productivity
- Oversee efficient preparation of all foods for events, employee meals, and special functions ensuring quality and quantity standards
- Follow specifications to prepare and present all food and beverage items including accommodating special guest requests
- Properly handle all products including preparation, covering, labeling, dating, and storage to ensure safety and minimize waste
- Maintain and promote cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- Perform inventory of products for ordering and assist in month-end inventory process
