Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary or food preparation experience required
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to read and understand instructions and recipes
  • COVID-19 vaccination may be required subject to location and legal exemptions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and food storage procedures

Job Duties

  • Understand and respond to all guest and employee needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in training staff and monitor scheduling
  • Support food and beverage employees to maintain high morale and productivity
  • Oversee proper and efficient preparation of all foods for events, employee meals, and special functions ensuring quality and quantity standards
  • Follow specifications to prepare and present all food and beverage items including accommodating special guest requests
  • Handle product preparation, covering, labeling, dating, and proper storage
  • Oversee proper rotation of food items to minimize waste
  • Respond to product shortages or excess promptly
  • Maintain and promote cleanliness and safety standards
  • Follow procedures to open or close the kitchen
  • Perform inventory for ordering and assist in month-end inventory process
