- previous culinary experience
- knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- capacity to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
- respond to guest and employee needs in a timely and professional manner
- assist in training, scheduling, and supporting food and beverage staff
- oversee food preparation for events, employee meals, and special functions ensuring quality and quantity standards
- follow specifications to prepare and present food and beverage items including accommodating special guest requests
- handle all product preparation, covering, labeling, dating, and proper storage
- monitor product rotation to minimize waste
- respond promptly to product shortages or excess
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
- follow procedures to open and close the kitchen
- perform inventory for ordering and assist in month-end inventory processes
