Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous culinary experience
  • knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • capacity to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to comply with COVID-19 vaccination policy where applicable
  • ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a sous chef or in a similar culinary role
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to lead and support a kitchen team
  • strong organizational skills

  • familiarity with inventory and ordering processes
  • capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • flexible schedule availability

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • respond to guest and employee needs in a timely and professional manner
  • assist in training, scheduling, and supporting food and beverage staff
  • oversee food preparation for events, employee meals, and special functions ensuring quality and quantity standards
  • follow specifications to prepare and present food and beverage items including accommodating special guest requests
  • handle all product preparation, covering, labeling, dating, and proper storage
  • monitor product rotation to minimize waste
  • respond promptly to product shortages or excess
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
  • follow procedures to open and close the kitchen
  • perform inventory for ordering and assist in month-end inventory processes
