Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food production or culinary arts preferred
  • Background in banquet or catering production advantageous
  • Must follow all health and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and instructions
  • Positive attitude and willingness to perform various kitchen tasks
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required
  • COVID vaccination required

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience or background in banquet or catering production preferred
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written recipes, production orders, and cooking instructions
  • Experience in food preparation and kitchen supervision
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety food handling regulations
  • Positive and proactive attitude toward daily work
  • Effective communication skills, bilingual or Spanish speaking helpful
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items
  • Set up stations prior to service with the appropriate equipment and food
  • Assist management in purchasing, inventory control, and training staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner
  • Supervise kitchen staff and oversee food production as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
