Job Requirements

  • COVID vaccination required
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written food recipes and production orders
  • Background in banquet or catering production preferred
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to receive, unpack, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Willingness to perform other assigned duties

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food production and culinary preparation
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written recipes and cooking instructions
  • Prior banquet or catering production experience preferred
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills helpful

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering items as determined by the Chef Manager
  • Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as directed
  • Assist management in purchasing, inventory control, and staff training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
