Job Qualifications
- Experience in food production and culinary preparation
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written recipes and cooking instructions
- Prior banquet or catering production experience preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling
- Strong customer service skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills helpful
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering items as determined by the Chef Manager
- Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as directed
- Assist management in purchasing, inventory control, and staff training
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
- Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
