Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a culinary role
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen demands
  • Flexibility to perform various kitchen tasks as assigned
  • Positive "can-do" attitude
  • Background in banquet or catering production preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and production orders
  • Experience in banquet or catering production preferred
  • Strong communication skills, preferably bilingual Spanish speaking
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food handling
  • Positive and proactive attitude

Job Duties

  • The production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by the Chef Manager
  • Station set-up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by the supervisor
  • Assist management in purchasing, inventory control and training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following all health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
