Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and work weekends and holidays
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, busy kitchen environment
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards
- No travel required

- Prior kitchen experience in a leadership role
- Experience with high-volume food production or catering
- Strong strategic thinking skills

Job Duties
- Make periodic and regular inspections of units to observe quality of food preparation and service
- food appearance
- and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment and employee appearance
- Adhere to recipes and portions in accordance with specs and product specifications, established procedures and budgetary constraints
- Participate in menu planning activities including purchasing specifications, product and recipe testing and menu development
- Assist Chef in plate presentation, special function menu planning and new service area design
- Prepare operational reports and analyses setting forth progress and adverse trends and make recommendations
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
