Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a culinary leadership role
- Full availability including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina
Job Qualifications
- Proven culinary experience in a hospitality or resort setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to create and innovate menu items
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist the executive chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations
- Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, training, scheduling, assigning work and delivering recognition and reward
