Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
  • Ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Capability to manage budgets and labor scheduling

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing and designing new culinary applications and systems
  • Support supervision of kitchen operations ensuring compliance with food and beverage policies
  • Communicate production needs to kitchen personnel daily
  • Maintain compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Perform duties of kitchen managers and associates as necessary
  • Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations
  • Lead shifts while preparing food items and executing requests to specifications
