Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Service Sanitation Manager certification
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Minimum of three years related work experience with at least one year supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to anticipate guest and team needs

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Preferred: Undergraduate or advanced degree in related field
  • Preferred: Technical diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts
  • Preferred: Experience in high-volume, multi-unit environment or higher education dining

Job Duties

  • Ensure production and service of quality, consistent menu items that adhere to culinary standards
  • Supervise and oversee kitchen personnel including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
  • Train and manage assigned staff and coordinate culinary activities
  • Oversee daily food production and meal service
  • Assist in recipe and menu development, cycle menu creation, production forecasting, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, labeling, and allergen containment procedures
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Manage budget aspects including food cost (COGS), labor costs, and operating expenses
  • Conduct weekly inventory counts
  • Coordinate and manage special projects, including catering and promotions
  • Participate in management team meetings
