Job Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in professional food preparation
  • Two or more years in a restaurant kitchen supervisory or management role
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong knife skills
  • Preferred culinary arts degree
  • Preferred ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
  • Preferred previous country club experience

Job Qualifications

  • Four or more years of experience in professional food preparation encompassing all food service phases
  • Two or more years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant kitchen
  • Preferred two- or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program
  • Previous country club work experience preferred
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
  • Strong knife skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of upscale a-la-carte meals including steaks and seafood
  • Ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards
  • Monitor food storage and handling for safety and sanitation
  • Inspect food prep and serving areas regularly
  • Lead and support the dining room kitchen team
  • Maintain consistency and timeliness in food production
  • Foster a positive and efficient kitchen environment
