Job Requirements

  • Four plus years of experience in a professional food preparation position encompassing all phases of food service and kitchen operations
  • Two plus years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory or management position
  • Two or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred
  • Previous country club work experience preferred
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
  • Strong knife skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Four or more years of experience in professional food preparation
  • Two or more years of experience in restaurant kitchen supervisory or management roles
  • Two- or four-year degree in culinary arts preferred
  • Previous country club experience preferred
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
  • Strong knife skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of steaks, seafood, meats, vegetables, sauces, and stocks
  • Ensure kitchen team follows recipes accurately and maintains quality and consistency
  • Monitor proper storage and handling of all food products
  • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and serving areas for safety and sanitation
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to work cohesively
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations during the shift
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
