Job Requirements
- Four plus years of experience in a professional food preparation position encompassing all phases of food service and kitchen operations
- Two plus years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory or management position
- Two or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred
- Previous country club work experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
- Strong knife skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Four or more years of experience in professional food preparation
- Two or more years of experience in restaurant kitchen supervisory or management roles
- Two- or four-year degree in culinary arts preferred
- Previous country club experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
- Strong knife skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Oversee preparation of steaks, seafood, meats, vegetables, sauces, and stocks
- Ensure kitchen team follows recipes accurately and maintains quality and consistency
- Monitor proper storage and handling of all food products
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and serving areas for safety and sanitation
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to work cohesively
- Assist in managing kitchen operations during the shift
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
