Job Requirements
- aas in culinary arts or equivalent from an accredited university or institute
- previous culinary experience preferred
- strong organizational, management, culinary, communication, and motivational skills
- proficiency in food and beverage hospitality industry control procedures
- strong background in cost efficiency kitchen management and regional cuisine
- knowledge of production and presentation methods
- proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell
- ServSafe sanitation certification
- acf certification preferred

Job Duties
- advise executive chef on all kitchen matters and ensure cleanliness and hygienic practice throughout the kitchen
- manage employees including culinary staff, servers, and stewarding personnel
- direct, coordinate, and evaluate restaurant unit operations
- carry out supervision in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work tasks
- appraise employee performance and administer rewards and discipline
- address complaints and resolve workplace problems
