Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- minimum 2 years of culinary or kitchen management experience
- proven ability to supervise and lead a culinary team
- strong communication and organizational skills
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
- ability to comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience a plus
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
- institutional and batch cooking experience helpful
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Email, and Internet
- ServSafe certified highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervise hourly associates
- ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- collaborate with Executive Chef on ordering and inventory management
