Job Requirements
- Must have previous culinary leadership experience
- College education and/or culinary degree preferred
- Ability to train, develop and motivate staff
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll and associate relations
- Ability to clearly communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with batch and quantity cooking
- Ability to use kitchen equipment
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Proficiency with culinary tools and sensory skills
- Proficient with computers
- Serve Safe certified
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods with frequent bending and twisting
- Willingness to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Able to teach staff effective guest interaction and service recovery

- Ability to multi-task and provide guest follow-up in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with batch and quantity cooking
- Eye/hand coordination for using kitchen equipment
- Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, cleanliness and teamwork
- Must be proficient with culinary tools, taste, and smell
- Computer proficiency required
- Serve Safe certified food manager
Job Duties
- Responsible for the execution of all Omni Hotel & Resorts company policies/procedures ensuring services meet established standards within budgetary controls
- Assist the Executive Chef in budgeting for food costs, payroll, and overheads, ensuring control and reporting variances
- Manage associates in scheduling, training, developing, coaching, counseling, and conducting reviews
- Advise Executive Chef on kitchen operations and uphold cleanliness and hygienic practices
- Ensure guest satisfaction through smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
- Establish and maintain purchasing and receiving standards
- Test and evaluate products for quality, yields, prices, and wastage
- Inspect food service sections during service for standard compliance
- Direct proper sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- Comply with EcoSure and health code sanitation standards
- Ensure kitchen equipment is operational and schedule maintenance
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
