- Ability to write and perform daily prep lists and par sheets
- Knowledge of sanitation standards
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up
- Skilled in using culinary tools and tasting techniques
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to lift, stand, bend, and move as required
Job Duties
- Responsible for supervision of culinary staff while providing direct support to Chef de Cuisine
- Utilize hands-on approach to training and developing kitchen staff
- Ensure refrigeration, equipment, and storage areas are clean and comply with health regulations
- Visually inspect, select, and use only food items of highest standard
- Teach associates importance of consistency in preparation, quality, portion control, and presentation
- Communicate importance of interacting with guests and resolving requests courteously
- Ensure food is prepped, stocked, and rotated to maintain ample supply
- Fire all food for service and serve on the line
- Provide support to wait staff to meet guest needs
- Maintain clean work area at all times
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
