Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years as line cook
  • Culinary training preferred
  • Valid health and sanitation card
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced indoor environment
  • Capability to stand, walk and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to work additional hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to wear clean uniform following company standards
  • Commitment to safety and good conduct in the workplace

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience as line cook
  • Prefer culinary training
  • Valid health and sanitation card
  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced indoor environment

Job Duties

  • Responsible for proper preparation, excellence of product, profit and labor cost
  • Organize and help in the service of all activities concerning a la carte, employee meals and private dining rooms
  • Consistent preparation and presentation based on overall standards including portion size
  • Train, supervise, direct and/or performance manage employees to enhance knowledge and team spirit
  • Attend food and beverage meetings, banquet meetings, and line-ups
  • Prepare work schedules for the kitchen crew, monitor payroll costs and Kronos reports
  • Order, receive and rotate food and kitchen goods properly
  • Develop menus for a la carte and banquet services
  • Expedite meals ensuring proper quality, portioning and presentation
  • Adhere to all cleaning schedules and duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen
  • Assist employees, members and guests to ensure delivery of 3 steps of service
  • Notify supervisor of complaints and practice service recovery
  • Interact professionally with members and guests handling last-minute requests
  • Perform additional duties as required by the fluctuating demands of the operation
  • Follow all company policies, standards, and guidelines
  • Maintain good conduct and safe working habits
  • Attend daily line-ups and wear neat, clean uniforms following standards
