Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or related field from a regionally accredited institution with two years of foodservice experience
  • or five years of applicable foodservice experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge

Job Duties

  • Prepare and coordinate menus for daily food service at multiple campus locations and catering events
  • maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
  • work flexible schedules including night and weekend shifts to accommodate events
  • supervise and train kitchen team members in food preparation, presentation, and service
  • manage food and labor costs to ensure efficient food service delivery
  • complete weekly inventories and maintain compliance records
  • order ingredients and supplies for catering and food service operations
  • maintain kitchen equipment and ensure timely repairs
  • oversee menu and pricing for POS systems and proper checkout procedures
  • coordinate with faculty, staff, and students to cater special events
  • promote the mission and goals of UA-PTC and CAHMI
  • maintain relevant certifications such as ServSafe and ACF credentials
