Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary or kitchen management experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • computer literate with knowledge of microsoft office and email
  • servsafe certification preferred
  • ability to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience a plus
  • knowledge of high volume complex foodservice operations
  • familiarity with institutional and batch cooking
  • understanding of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email and internet
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • servsafe certified preferred

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly kitchen staff
  • ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained
  • support kitchen operations and inventory management
