Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years experience in kitchen leadership roles
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- physical ability to bend, stretch, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds
- strong leadership and decision-making skills
- ability to train and manage staff
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years in hospitality industry with proven experience as Lead Line Cook, Sous Chef or equivalent kitchen leadership in fine dining restaurant
- ability to lead and motivate kitchen team
- knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- experience with inventory management and cost control
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Oversee kitchen operations
- ensure all stations are set up, stocked and running smoothly for service
- lead and support staff by assigning tasks and delegating workload
- work all stations including expo
- assist with ordering, inventory, scheduling, and new menu rollouts
- help manage labor cost
- check deliveries, verify quality, and ensure proper storage
