Job Requirements
- Minimum education of A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Ability to work in a high volume foodservice environment
- Strong knowledge of food cost controls and sanitation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction activities
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience preferred
- Experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive understanding of food and catering trends
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- Experience in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and account expenditures
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and support employee training and growth
- Manage food preparation ensuring quality, safety, and presentation standards
- Collaborate with Executive Chef on ordering and inventory management
