Job Requirements

  • Minimum education of A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • Ability to work in a high volume foodservice environment
  • Strong knowledge of food cost controls and sanitation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction activities
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience with high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • Comprehensive understanding of food and catering trends
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Experience in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and account expenditures
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs with company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervise hourly associates and support employee training and growth
  • Manage food preparation ensuring quality, safety, and presentation standards
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef on ordering and inventory management
