Job Requirements

  • high school diploma required
  • prior work experience in a restaurant or hospitality position
  • culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • ability to work 50-55 hours per week
  • capacity to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • ServSafe food certification required
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe throughout shifts
  • availability for full-time employment
  • flexibility for transfer to other locations

Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • high school diploma required
  • prior restaurant or hospitality work experience required
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • good judgment and independent decision-making skills
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to operate relevant business systems such as POS and HRIS

Job Duties

  • managing and directing the work of all back-of-house employees in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to the BOH department including enforcing management policies and operating practices
  • assisting in controlling food and labor costs by ensuring properly billed and received products and investigating variances
  • assuring adherence to all company and restaurant-specific policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation
  • performing job functions of other management personnel as needed
  • addressing guest complaints and ensuring overall guest satisfaction professionally
  • utilizing company business systems effectively for POS, HRIS, scheduling, inventory, and labor management
