Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum 2-3 years of culinary lead experience
  • Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and manage a team
  • Experience with ordering and scheduling is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in directing and overseeing all culinary operations
  • Ensure the preparation and production of quality hotel meals
  • Maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • Enforce compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Monitor team member productivity and performance
  • Implement culinary policies and procedures
  • Manage cost controls and overall profitability
  • Develop and supervise culinary team members
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquet events
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist with scheduling, training, counseling, and performance evaluations
