Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a lead cook or higher role
  • Experience in fine dining across various cuisine styles
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for current food trends
  • Ability to train and develop culinary team members
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Experience with ordering and scheduling preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in directing and overseeing all culinary operations
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Oversee preparation and production of all hotel meals
  • Develop and implement menu selections for banquets and special events
  • Monitor and manage team member performance through training, scheduling, and evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cost controls to achieve overall profitability
