Job Requirements
- Some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- Prior experience with catering operations is a plus
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Multi-unit experience preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and the internet

- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, particularly with large-scale catering events, is highly desirable
- Multi-unit experience preferred
- ServSafe certification is highly desirable
- Must be experienced with computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and the internet
- A.S. or equivalent experience in culinary arts or related field
- Some experience with institutional and batch cooking is helpful
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
Job Duties
- Work alongside the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations and supervise culinary associates
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and motivated to deliver exceptional service
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and creating menus that meet the dietary needs of students and staff while maintaining variety, quality, and creativity
- Help manage cost controls and expenditures for the account, ensuring food costs are kept within budget while maintaining quality standards
- Produce and execute catering events, ensuring all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service meet high standards
- Collaborate with the company's marketing and culinary teams to roll out new culinary programs and initiatives
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest standards, with attention to detail in presentation and garnishment
- Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities to ensure the dining experience exceeds expectations
