Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience in full service upscale environment
  • Passion for quality food and excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and basic accounting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with flexible availability
  • Current food handler's card as required by local or state law

  • Passion and knowledge about quality food and exceptional customer service
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program that covers all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Lead the kitchen crew in scratch cooking tried and true recipes and weekly specials
  • Train, motivate and develop kitchen staff while focusing on business goals such as process improvements, growth, efficiency, profitability and compliance
  • Ensure the kitchen maintains impeccable cleanliness and is ready to pass the white glove test
  • Oversee inventory and kitchen supplies to optimize resource use
  • Collaborate with management to implement company procedures and standards
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to meet Nordstrom standards
