Job Requirements
- Two year culinary arts degree preferred
- Minimum of three years related experience
- Able to work flexible hours and days
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment
- Current ServSafe Manager and Allergen certifications preferred or willing to complete both in the first 30 days

Job Duties
- Oversee and supervise the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance, and conduct of the culinary team
- Assign production duties, motivate team members, and help hire and train new staff
- Collaborate with Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef to develop recipes, plan menus and create specials
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, kitchen staff and managers in all departments
- Consistently practice safe and sanitary food handling techniques and enforce workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness
- Find alternative ways to prepare meals or events when issues arise such as supplies running out, orders coming in late or equipment malfunctioning
- Assist with inventory and monitoring food costs
- Fill in for Executive Chef in their absence
