Job Requirements

  • Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years management experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge in a hotel preferred
  • Active SNHD Food Handlers card
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills inclusive of spelling and grammar
  • Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Valid Food Handling Safety Certification
  • 5 years management experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge
  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure

Job Duties

  • Monitor and evaluate food purchasing, staffing, food production, and food inventory to control food and labor costs and waste, ensuring adherence to budget
  • Hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and manage staff to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources
  • Monitor and evaluate food preparation by observing cooking techniques and tasting results to ensure food quality and consistency
  • Inspect restaurant kitchen areas and make decisions for necessary corrective actions to maintain company and health department standards
  • Work with Executive Chef to analyze food costs and forecast business trends, making recommendations for menu price revisions
  • Participate in seamless operation between back-of-house and front-of-house staff to ensure proper service
  • Execute proper health and safety protocols and maintain active food handler certification
  • Report health and safety incidents promptly to leadership
  • Actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
