Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • OR 2-year associate degree in culinary arts or related field
  • 2 years professional experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Compliance with food safety standards
  • Ability to work full time on-site
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to manage kitchen operations and staff
  • Flexibility to handle guest interactions and problem resolution

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related with 2 years experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with labor and budget management

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing new culinary applications, ideas and products
  • Create decorative food displays and determine presentation standards
  • Support supervision of kitchen shift operations and compliance with F&B policies
  • Inform purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Perform duties of kitchen managers and associates as necessary
  • Estimate daily production needs and communicate to kitchen personnel
  • Assist Executive Chef with all kitchen operations
  • Recognize superior quality products and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Follow proper handling and temperature of food products
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Prepare and cook various foods
  • Check quality of raw and cooked food products
  • Utilize interpersonal skills to lead and influence others
  • Encourage and build mutual trust among team members
  • Ensure associates understand kitchen goals
  • Establish open relationships with associates
