Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of culinary experience
- Previous supervisory experience in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

- Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience in supervising and training kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Skilled in menu planning and food presentation
- Ability to problem solve quickly and delegate effectively
Job Duties
- Train all kitchen associates in job duties including plate presentation and display work
- Write schedules and direct all kitchen personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide associates with necessary tools and equipment
- Take immediate action to resolve kitchen problems
- Participate in department meetings, staff meetings, kitchen inventory, and management programs
- Ensure all food served is of high quality, properly prepared, and efficiently expedited
- Assist in establishing goals, standards, and objectives to enhance reputation and profitability
- Supervise kitchen staff and utility and sanitation associates in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Maintain all use records, roast meat charts, and recipe cards
- Prepare recipe cards and picture presentation of all menu items
- Submit payroll hours timely to the Accounting Department
