Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Colorado Food Handlers ServSafe Certification is required
  • minimum of 2 years previous culinary or kitchen management experience in a high volume kitchen preferred
  • previous management experience preferred
  • knowledge and understanding of health, safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures
  • must pass pre-employment drug, alcohol screen and criminal background check
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire
  • must exhibit professionalism, positivity, self-discipline, initiative, and maintain neat and clean appearance
  • must possess good communication skills for diverse staff
  • ability to motivate employees to work as a team to meet food and service standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Colorado Food Handlers ServSafe Certification
  • minimum 2 years culinary or kitchen management experience in a high volume kitchen preferred
  • previous management experience preferred
  • working knowledge of restaurant functions including recipe execution, purchasing, sanitation, safety, record keeping, and reporting
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to motivate staff and promote teamwork
  • professionalism and a positive attitude
  • ability to execute profitability goals
  • college degree preferred but practical experience and education combination accepted

Job Duties

  • Manage and execute all kitchen functions during the evening shift
  • supervise back-of-house employees and coordinate kitchen activities
  • ensure food preparation complies with established recipes and quality standards
  • maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen
  • train employees on cooking methods, plating, portion control, and cost management
  • oversee equipment cleaning and food storage protocols
  • ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements
