Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a sous chef or kitchen supervisor preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work a full-time schedule with open availability
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Able to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation and kitchen work
Job Qualifications
- Sous chef, kitchen manager or supervisor experience preferred
- Ability to manage and supervise kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and some evenings
- Customer service oriented
- Experience in food production and inventory management
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
- Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly
- Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them
- Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- Track product production, consumption, and waste
- Inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Perform other duties as assigned
