Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and presentation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team to maintain high standards of performance
  • Oversee kitchen production and service during peak meal periods
  • Monitor food and labor costs, assisting in budget control and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Support menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
