Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or apprenticeship certification
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in high-volume venues or contract food service in sports and entertainment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong commitment to customer and client service
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management

Job Duties

  • Assist the executive chef in planning and development of menu items and recipes for concessions, catering, and premium locations
  • Assist in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
  • Aid the executive chef in maintaining the highest possible rating from the health department
  • Assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within the kitchen
  • Help develop and test recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
  • Assist in ensuring consistent food quality in presentation and preparation
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control
  • Ensure all recipes and methods are properly followed
  • Maintain kitchen equipment
  • Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices
  • Contribute to creation of menu specifications including pricing
  • Work directly with the executive chef on food production and menu development
  • Conduct meetings and pre-shifts to update staff on daily goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the executive chef
