Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or graduation from a certified apprenticeship program
- Minimum of 2-3 years of management experience in high-volume venues or contract food service in sports and entertainment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to customer and client service
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills
- Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Flexibility to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Assist the executive chef in planning and development of menu items and recipes for concessions, catering, and premium locations
- Assist in maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
- Aid the executive chef in maintaining the highest possible rating from the health department
- Assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within the kitchen
- Help develop and test recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
- Assist in ensuring consistent food quality in presentation and preparation
- Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control
- Ensure all recipes and methods are properly followed
- Maintain kitchen equipment
- Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices
- Contribute to creation of menu specifications including pricing
- Work directly with the executive chef on food production and menu development
- Conduct meetings and pre-shifts to update staff on daily goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the executive chef
