Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
- completion of sanitation course during first year of employment
- capability to handle stress and resolve interpersonal conflicts
- proficiency in basic math
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- availability to work occasional nights and weekends
- willingness to fill in for absent employees
- ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- complete a sanitation course before or during the first year
- knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- maintain serving schedules ensuring all food items are served per menu specifications safely
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis
- prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor other food service workers
- maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment
- ensure all food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action as necessary
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend replacement of equipment
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings
- maintain communication with staff
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
