Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in a kitchen setting
  • 1 year experience in a supervisory, lead, or sous chef capacity
  • servsafe certification
  • ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent

  • servsafe certified
  • knowledge of Lean processes preferred
  • associates degree or higher preferred
  • healthcare food service experience preferred
  • knowledgeable with modified diets preferred

Job Duties

  • manage food and nutrition operations including patient dining, retail food, and catering
  • assist in overseeing all culinary operations for the department
  • lead and mentor frontline culinary staff
  • foster a positive team culture
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • develop and train culinary teams
  • maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
