Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Professional cooking experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Prior sous chef experience preferred
  • Experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation for special diets
  • Ability to maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals
  • Responsible for opening and closing of kitchen
  • General cleaning and maintain sanitation of kitchen
  • Creating menu items consistent with expectations of restaurant quality meals
  • Ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Managing inventory and supplies related to food preparation
  • Assisting with training and supervising kitchen staff
