Job Requirements

  • Prior experience supervising kitchen staff
  • Ability to manage kitchen inventory and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience supervising kitchen staff
  • Experience creating menus
  • Experience managing inventory and scheduling
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Culinary degree or formal training preferred

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary actions
  • Stores food properly according to corporate, state, and federal food safety procedures
  • Maintains food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperature standards
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisors
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries and informs supervisor when supplies are low
