Job Requirements

  • Prior managerial and culinary experience
  • Ability to work full-time schedule with varying days

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Prior managerial experience in a culinary setting
  • Culinary experience and skills to prepare food according to approved recipes and standards
  • Ability to lead and supervise food service associates effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and hygiene regulations
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Capability to maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness
  • Understanding of inventory control and waste management

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews and recommending disciplinary action
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • relay relevant information directly to supervisor
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
  • Keep up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • track product production, consumption and waste
  • inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • Perform other duties as assigned
