Job Requirements
- Previous food service and culinary experience required
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2pm
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures
- Capable of supervising and training team members
- Ability to handle customer interactions professionally
- Reliable and punctual
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Previous food service and culinary experience
- Experience supervising a team in a kitchen or foodservice environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory and kitchen supplies
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work early morning hours
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary action
- Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Cleans workstation thoroughly
- Keeps display equipment clean during meal service
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
- Keeps up with peak production and service hours
- Monitors inventory, product deliveries, production, consumption and waste
- Informs supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
