Job Requirements

  • Prior management experience preferred
  • healthcare experience preferred
  • ability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of prior management experience preferred
  • prior healthcare experience preferred
  • culinary skills for food preparation according to approved recipes
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to supervise, train, and manage food service associates
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to monitor inventory and track food production and waste

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary actions
  • stores food in designated areas following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
  • interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisor
  • monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks production, consumption and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • performs other duties as assigned
