Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • Managers Food Handlers permit required or willing to obtain
  • experience in office environment or customer service preferred
  • ability to work independently and multitask
  • strong communication skills
  • self-motivated and professional

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college or culinary training preferred
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • must hold a Managers Food Handlers permit or be willing to obtain one
  • experience in an office environment, answering phones or customer service preferred
  • self-motivated and organized
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Hire and train line cooks and dishwashers under the general direction of the Director of F and B
  • place food and supply orders
  • complete and document safety audits and monthly in-service trainings
  • ensure correct plate presentation prior to dishes leaving the kitchen
  • oversee kitchen labor and food cost and monitor budget
  • prepare high quality food
