Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • Managers Food Handlers permit or willingness to obtain
  • experience in office environment or customer service preferred
  • self-motivated and organized
  • ability to multitask and work independently
  • strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • college or culinary training preferred
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • must hold a Managers Food Handlers permit or be willing to obtain one
  • experience in office environment, answering phones or customer service preferred
  • self-motivated, organized, and professional
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, family members, and team members

Job Duties

  • Hire and train line cooks and dishwashers under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage
  • place food and supply orders
  • complete and document safety audits and monthly in-service trainings
  • ensure correct plate presentation before dishes leave the kitchen
  • oversee kitchen labor and food cost while monitoring the budget
  • prepare high quality food
