Job Requirements
- Three years of prior culinary experience is required
- Ability to work full time with variable days and hours
- Knowledge of corporate, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Capacity to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Competency in customer service and complaint resolution
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years of prior culinary experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience in supervising and training kitchen staff
- Ability to manage inventory and food production tracking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak service times
- Basic understanding of payroll and scheduling systems
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions
- Stores food according to corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints
- Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers
- Monitors inventory and deliveries
- Tracks product production, consumption, and waste
- Performs other duties as assigned
