Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • valid or obtainable managers food handlers permit
  • ability to work independently
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • experience with multitasking in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary training preferred
  • previous leadership experience preferred
  • must hold a managers food handlers permit or be willing to obtain
  • experience in office environment or customer service preferred
  • must be self-motivated and organized
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Hire and train line cooks and dishwashers under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage
  • place food and supply orders
  • complete and document safety audits and monthly in-service trainings
  • ensure correct plate presentation before dishes leave the kitchen
  • oversee kitchen labor and food costs while monitoring the budget
  • prepare high quality food
