Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work the specified schedule Tuesday through Saturday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to kitchen operations including lifting and cleaning

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with inventory and supply management
  • Capability to maintain high food quality and presentation standards
  • Willingness to work full-time schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information directly to supervisor
