Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior culinary experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work the specified schedule Tuesday through Saturday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to kitchen operations including lifting and cleaning
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary experience preferred
- Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with inventory and supply management
- Capability to maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Willingness to work full-time schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
- Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information directly to supervisor
