Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary and leadership experience required
  • Open availability to work varied hours including weekends and nights
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling and recommending disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay relevant information to supervisor
