Job Requirements

  • Prior management and cooking experience required
  • Ability to work full time with flexible days from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
  • Must comply with all corporate, state, and federal food safety standards
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Must be able to interact professionally with customers
  • Must maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Prior management experience in a kitchen environment
  • Proven cooking experience with knowledge of food preparation standards
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and ordering processes
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, and clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
  • Keep up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of products and supplies, track production, consumption, and waste, and inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • Perform other duties as assigned
