Job Requirements

  • Prior cooking or food service experience is required
  • Ability to work full time with varying day shifts and weekend availability
  • Must be able to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • Ability to supervise and manage hourly food service associates
  • Must maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Ability to handle food storage and inventory control
  • Must interact professionally with customers and resolve complaints
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for work during peak production and service hours
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking or food service experience
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of food service associates
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers
  • Clear understanding of daily menu items
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Cleans workstation thoroughly and keeps display equipment clean during meal service
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisor
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks product production, consumption, and waste
  • Performs other duties as assigned
